Wine Stop has always been about the 10%.

Not the most advertised wine. Not the bottle with the highest score. Not the label everyone already knows.

We look for the small percentage that is genuinely worth discovering.

Now we’re applying the same idea to Los Angeles.

Every Thursday night, The 10% will highlight a few things happening around LA that we think are actually worth your time: food, wine, tastings, live music, art, culture, markets, neighborhood festivals, and the occasional event that doesn’t fit neatly into any category.

This is not meant to be a complete events calendar.

Quite the opposite.

Los Angeles already has thousands of things happening every weekend. We’ll look through them and select only a handful—the ones that seem distinctive, interesting, unusual, or simply too good to miss.

Some will be free. Some will be worth spending money on. Some will be around the corner. Occasionally, something will be good enough to justify driving across town.

We’ll also tell you what it costs, when to go, whether you need a reservation, and whether the weather might change the plan.
